Tiny riders-introduction to learning to ride
We have Designed this activity specifically for pre-schoolers (min age 2) and reception children who are too young to have a riding lesson at their local riding school.

These 45 minute, one to one sessions on one of our small, quiet, experienced ponies will enable your budding pony equestrian to be around ponies and have a pony ride in a quiet, relaxed environment, enabling them to develop their confidence at their own pace.

We have found that 45 minutes provides sufficient time for children to gain sufficient confidence being near the ponies and are then quite happy to hop into the saddle for a short (15-20 mins) ride.

We have two very tiny (only 34" to the shoulder), gentle ponies, Poppy and Maisie who are ideal for smaller children to brush, stroke and ride whilst Jinny and Demi are suitable for older children. Both ponies are suitable for disabled children to groom and ride.

Our session leaders all have a number of years experience of ponies/horses and of working with children and will adapt the session to your child's individual requirements.

Introduction to pony riding sessions are charged at £35 per session for the first child, £17.50 each for the second and third child.
