Meet the ponies

Poppy suitable for pony parties from age 2Poppy is a miniature Shetland pony and is just 32" tall. Poppy was bought to keep one of our horses company and was so gentle with the children that we let them sit on her from time to time. We gradually trained her and my daughter then had three years of fun on her before she grew too big for Poppy. All the 'little' people in our family have a sit on Poppy when they're visiting!

Poppy is very gentle, well mannered and used to small children. She is perfect for children from the age of two.

Demi suitable for pony parties to age 9



Demi was bought by

Cheshire Pony Parties

in 2007 to replace Poppy when my daughter grew too tall for her. He is eleven hands tall and is a Welsh Mountain Section A pony. He's a very easy going, friendly pony and like Poppy, is very steady to ride. My daughter now rides him off the lead round the lanes and does pony club activities and competitions with him.


Party ponies winter care The ponies wrapped up warm for the snowy weather and with plenty of hay to eat! Jan 2010.
